Menahem studied at the Jewish high school in Ungvár (Uzshorod). In 1944 he was one of the organizers of the “Bnei Akiva” underground. In May 1944 Menahem moved to Romania where he met and took care of the Jews smuggled from Hungary by way of the tiyul. In 1945 he returned to Hungary and was a member of the movement leadership. Between 1947 and 1949 he worked at the center of the movement in Paris. Later, he was in charge of Jewish education in Los Angeles until his retirement.
Menahem lived in Los Angeles.
